ATS Traffic Ltd. is a family-owned business that has been providing traffic control, on-street services, and signage products and services across Canada since 1966. We operate out of offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Langley, Brandon, Winnipeg, and Mississauga.

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Corporate Office in Edmonton, Alberta. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with experience in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics. They will be able to lead, train, and mentor employees to increase the overall skill level of the department.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve customer service levels and working capital efficiency.
  • Process improvements and vendor performance management.
  • Lead the supply chain team to focus on continuous improvement.
  • Establish inventory best practices to support financial and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for manufacturing facilities and North American branch networks.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ERP-enabled processes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement and logistics in a manufacturing and distribution industry.
  • SCMP designation an asset.
  • Experience with MS Great Plains, Dynamics 365, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices in supply chain management.
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes.
  • Solid exposure to a continuous improvement environment.
  • Experience with multi-product buying across multiple vendors and suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
  • Professional communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or equivalent.
  • Ability to lead, train, and mentor employees on a personal level.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
