About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Deccan Express. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and prepare menus for special events and daily operations, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of ethnic dishes, including South Indian, East Indian, and vegetarian options, using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our kitchen staff and management team to ensure that all aspects of food preparation and service are met.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all dishes, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or catering firm experience preferred.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
