Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at Plantscape (Windsor) Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and appearance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Presentation Graphics and Drawings: Create visual aids to communicate design concepts and plans to clients and stakeholders.
  • Survey and Assess Designated Sites: Conduct site visits to evaluate the condition of lawns, gardens, and other outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Lawn Care Products: Safely apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides to maintain healthy lawns and gardens.
  • Perform Pruning and Repair Work: Prune trees and shrubs, repair damaged areas, and inject treatment solutions to maintain the health and appearance of outdoor spaces.
  • Assess Lawn Health: Evaluate the condition of lawns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Diagnose Tree and Shrub Problems: Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
  • Plan and Coordinate Plant Growth: Develop plans to promote the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses.
  • Plant and Maintain Lawns and Gardens: Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
