Job Summary

Trans-United Consultants Ltd is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support in troubleshooting and repairs to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Identify replacement parts and assist on-site contractors as required
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as required
  • Document and maintain details of inspections
  • Participate in ongoing cross-training and multi-skilling activities within the organization
  • Ensure that all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations

Requirements

  • Licensed Red Seal Industrial Millwright
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read and analyze blueprints, drawings
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
