About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at Aline Saba. As a Child Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for managing the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Child Development and Education: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and help them with homework.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the children.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of the children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Activity Organization: Organize activities such as games and outings for the children, promoting their physical and mental development.
  • Supervision and Care: Supervise and care for the children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: The role will be based in the employer's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role will involve repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a high level of physical activity.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty.
