We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to oversee the receiving and processing of merchandise at our Walmart Canada location. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Unloading
- Coordinate the unloading of trailers and sorting of general merchandise.
- Ensure the live unloading of other types of merchandise is completed accurately.
- Merchandise Flow
- Delegating and following up on the movement of pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
- Assisting in stocking and applying product protection on the sales floor as assigned.
- Team Leadership
- Provide training, coaching, and feedback to associates.
- Act as a team lead by providing direction to CAP 2 Associates.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain a cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving.
