About the Opportunity

Alberta Distillers Limited is a leading distillery and member of the Suntory Global Spirits family. We're a team that's moving forward, building on our rich past and growing new opportunities for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work from 2:00pm-10:30pm and report to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Perform line changeovers and maintenance of packaging equipment
  • Maintain rotating equipment and general plant maintenance
  • Act in accordance with the One Beam Suntory Way behaviors
  • Be actively involved with improvements and root cause problem solving
  • Participate in daily 'huddles'; actively discuss safety, quality and performance issues
Requirements
  • Registered Journeyman Millwright certificate (Alberta or Interprovincial)
  • Experience in maintaining packaging lines and troubleshooting all types of machinery
  • Strong background in predictive maintenance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Physical Requirements

The successful candidate must have and maintain the physical ability to lift 50 lbs., climb stairs, ladders, catwalks, work in confined areas, be exposed to various environments (wind, dust, heights, hot and cold temperatures, etc.).

This position is part of the United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union, Local No. 401. The hourly rate for this position is $45.67 per hour. Occasional call-in and overtime will be required.
