Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
    • Conduct brake adjustments and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Logistics and Planning
    • Calculate costs of truck repairs and new parts, and manage fuel consumption.
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to improve service quality.
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing loads.
    • Transport and handle dangerous goods in accordance with regulations.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate records of driver logbooks, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours
