Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Incident Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, ensuring that issues are properly documented and resolved.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Infrastructure Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring that our systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure that our systems are secure and can be restored in the event of a disaster.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
