Oyster Harvester Job Description

Raspberry Point Oyster Company is seeking a skilled Oyster Harvester to join our team. As an Oyster Harvester, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining aquaculture enclosures, transferring stock to tanks in trucks, and cleaning, sorting, and packing shellfish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
  • Transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers
  • Clean, sort, and pack shellfish
  • Assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms
  • Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. You will be handling heavy loads and working in wet/damp conditions with odours.
