Our St. Catharines office has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounting Technician. Reporting to Partners and Managers, you'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing compilation engagements for clients across various business sectors
  • Assisting clients with bank reconciliations, HST, and other monthly bookkeeping tasks
  • Preparing personal, trust, and corporate tax returns
  • Supporting the preparation of audit and review engagement files, as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education, with a focus on accounting preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a public accounting firm preferred
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Caseware, CaseView, and Taxprep
