Transportation Infrastructure Engineer
As a transportation infrastructure engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the enhancement of transportation systems by contributing to the design and detailing of roadway and highway projects at various governmental levels. Your role will encompass geometric analysis, calculations, and collaboration with the design team to produce comprehensive documentation and plans for designated tasks. You will report directly to the project manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop standard sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sectional views.
- Assist the design team in the creation of design documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensure adherence to codes and engineering standards.
- Conduct engineering calculations and estimations.
- Gather and analyze data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of four years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Expertise in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.
