POSITION OVERVIEW
In alignment with the vision, mission, and values of Prairie Mountain Health and its affiliated sites, the Registered Nurse II delivers thorough nursing care to patients, residents, and clients, adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures. The Nurse II acknowledges and fulfills their professional duties by practicing in accordance with the ethical obligations outlined by the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses, as well as the Standards of Practice set forth by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and the College of Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba. This role also adheres to the scope of practice defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) and the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Act, along with other relevant Provincial and Federal legislation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Nurse II is expected to practice in alignment with their level of scope of practice, expertise, training, and experience, in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA) or the Registered Psychiatric Nurse Act of Manitoba.
- Maintain and obtain the necessary competencies relevant to the position as designated by Prairie Mountain Health.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the organization.
