Job Summary
Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
- Maintain a visible presence on the gaming floor and respond promptly to guest inquiries.
- Write detailed reports and conduct thorough investigations as required.
- Provide first aid and medical attention as needed.
- Ensure the physical security and safety of guests, employees, and assets.
- Assess situations and provide proactive solutions to resolve conflicts and incidents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security role is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Gaming Security Officer (GSO) Training Completion Certification.
- Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GPEB).
- First Aid Level 1 certification (Level 2 is an asset but not required).
- 1-2 years of demonstrated security/surveillance experience; gaming experience is an asset.
