About the Role

CHELA TRANSPORT LTD is seeking a skilled Plumber - Pipefitting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth installation and maintenance of our piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pipe Installation and Maintenance: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors, and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
  • Piping System Design: Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Measurement and Fabrication: Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including our facilities and customer sites.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess accurate and detail-oriented skills, work well in a team environment, and have excellent communication skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
