We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integrity Specialist to join our team at SAIT. As a key member of our Office of the Registrar, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student data.
Key Responsibilities- Student Record Data Quality Analysis and Reporting: 50%
- Oversee the governance of data elements and ensure the accuracy and integrity of student record data.
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting on student record data quality issues.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence & Analytics team to identify trends in data quality issues.
- Registration and Program Support: 25%
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of program progression across SAIT.
- Collaborate with Academic Units and Finance to support effective administration of registration, tuition, and fees.
- Lead block/registration testing and term-by-term fee table testing.
- Operational Process Review and Enhancements: 15%
- Make recommendations for process and system improvements to ensure data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement and design, test, and implement solutions.
- Data Governance Office (DGO) Activities: 10%
- Participate in DGO committees as an expert in student record and program progression.
- Liaise between DGO committees and OTR leadership to deliver information and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in supporting data quality issues and customer service.
- Software experience: Banner 9, communication management software, and advanced MS Office skills.
- Strong student advocacy attitude and escalating concerns when discovered.
- Understanding of Government post-secondary reporting requirements.
- Creative, strategic thinker with sound acumen.
- Self-motivated with extremely strong attention to detail required.
