About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Yammy Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as required for food preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 14 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
