Position Overview: The Sales Internship Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the operational efficiency of the sales department. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, with the potential for both daytime and evening shifts throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of various store functions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all roles within the department.
  • Communicate and uphold all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance among team members.
  • Oversee team performance by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Foster the development of team members by collaborating with management on talent assessments and professional growth opportunities.
  • Equip team members with the necessary training, resources, and support to excel in their roles and advance within the organization.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to optimize merchandise presentation and resolve any operational issues.
  • Disseminate information regarding store sales, events, and promotional activities through regular meetings and communication channels.
  • Analyze sales and inventory reports to monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and asset protection protocols, providing training and resources to maintain a secure and clean environment.
  • May be required to assume managerial responsibilities, including store opening and closing duties, as well as addressing customer inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work flexible shifts as needed.
