About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in the Rehabilitation Services portfolio. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. You will provide service in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings, educating and communicating with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. Computer skills, including statistics input, word processing, and Outlook, are necessary. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) is also required. Additional courses or education in specialized areas, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc., are an asset. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are also an asset.

Hours and Compensation

This is a long-assignment full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $33.97 - $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
