About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at 12082799 Canada Inc. as a key member of our Warehouse and Logistics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and light trucks, to load, unload, and move materials and products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Make labels and attach them to goods, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Wrap goods and pack and unpack materials, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Participate in counterbalanced forklift training and maintain certification as a Forklift Operator.
  • Operate a strapping machine and other equipment as required.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a repetitive task environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a warehouse and logistics environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery and equipment. The role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
