About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at SmartPEP (Canada) Biological Technology Research Ltd. as a key member of our procurement team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
    • Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet the company's needs.
    • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the inventory management process to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of goods and materials.
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
