We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Podiatric Nurse to join our team at Elizz, a leading healthcare provider in Victoria. As a Podiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients with diverse needs in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care to meet the physical, safety, emotional, and spiritual needs of clients and their families in their homes and communities.
- Use evidence-informed nursing knowledge, skill, and judgment to work within the LPN scope of practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and provide modern models of care.
- Utilize current technology for care delivery and documentation, including Electronic Patient Record Documentation systems.
- Travel between and work at all homes and institutions as required.

Requirements- Current registration with BCCNM.
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient care requirements.
- Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Foot Care Certification (Basic and/or Advanced Foot Care Courses).
- Demonstrate knowledge of the nursing care planning and process and evidence of the ability to utilize problem-solving.
- Excellent use of critical thinking skills in all aspects of providing care and collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support as a minimum.
