About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Podiatric Nurse to join our team at Elizz, a leading healthcare provider in Victoria. As a Podiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients with diverse needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic nursing care to meet the physical, safety, emotional, and spiritual needs of clients and their families in their homes and communities.
  • Use evidence-informed nursing knowledge, skill, and judgment to work within the LPN scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and provide modern models of care.
  • Utilize current technology for care delivery and documentation, including Electronic Patient Record Documentation systems.
  • Travel between and work at all homes and institutions as required.

Requirements
  • Current registration with BCCNM.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of patient care requirements.
  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Foot Care Certification (Basic and/or Advanced Foot Care Courses).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the nursing care planning and process and evidence of the ability to utilize problem-solving.
  • Excellent use of critical thinking skills in all aspects of providing care and collaborating with the healthcare team.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support as a minimum.
