Position Overview:
As a Child Clinical Psychologist within Manitoba Health, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work that supports Indigenous communities through Jordan's Principle Services. This role offers both part-time and full-time employment options, allowing for flexibility in your schedule and commitment to specific communities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services to children and families, ensuring a culturally safe and family-centered approach.
- Conduct psychological evaluations for diagnosis and treatment planning, focusing on neurodevelopment assessments for preschool and school-aged children.
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in community visits, including travel to remote areas, to provide essential services.
- Maintain a flexible schedule for report writing and virtual follow-ups with patients and communities.

Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- Completion of an accredited Internship/Residency.
- Experience in child and adolescent clinical psychology, including diagnostic evaluation and cognitive assessments.
- Training and experience in Indigenous health is considered an asset.
- Commitment to the principles of Jordan's Principle and willingness to engage in ongoing training and consultation.

Work Environment:
This position is based at a Clinical Health Psychology site, with opportunities for hybrid work models. You will join a dedicated team of psychologists who provide mentorship and support across various settings, enhancing your professional development.

- A market-equivalent travel compensation is available for community visits.
- Specific cultural safety training will be provided to ensure effective engagement with Indigenous families and communities.
