About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide safe and effective care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on medication management and treatment recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification
