Job Title: Data Engineer - Business Intelligence

Xideral is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join its team and play a key role in shaping the future of its data management and analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data processing and analysis.
  • Design and Implement Data Models: Develop and implement data models to support business requirements and ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Data Teams: Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and scientists to design and document data integration flows.
  • Ensure Data Integrity: Identify and fix technical issues with data redundancy and ensure data integrity.
  • Support Data Analysts: Provide data knowledge and debugging support to data analysts.
  • Troubleshoot SQL Jobs: Troubleshoot SQL jobs and document work and tests done.
  • Develop Power BI Datasets: Create or update complex and large Power BI datasets to support data analysts.
  • Improve Power BI Performance: Improve Power BI datasets performance.
  • Develop DAX and Power Query Codes: Write codes in DAX and Power Query.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 Years Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in data management and analysis.
  • SQL Experience: Minimum 5 years experience with SQL for RDBMS such as Azure SQL, MS SQL Server.
  • Databricks Experience: Minimum 2 years experience with Databricks.
  • Power BI Experience: Minimum 2 years experience with Power BI (including DAX, Power Query).
  • Data Warehousing Experience: Experience with data warehouses designed in star and snowflake schema.
  • Marketing Data Experience: Experience in managing Marketing data.
  • Release Management Experience: Experience with release management and code migrations.
  • Multidimensional Data Modeling Experience: Experience with multidimensional data modeling.
  • Large Organization Experience: Experience working in a large organization.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Management or related field.
Knowledge and Skills
  • SQL Optimization Techniques: Good understanding of SQL optimization techniques and multidimensional database schemas.
  • SQL Server Management Studio: SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Power BI Expertise: Advance knowledge of Power BI.
  • Databricks Expertise: Experienced in Databricks.
  • Google Analytics Knowledge: Google Analytics knowledge.
  • Error Minimization: Ability to review own work and minimize errors.
Soft Skills
