Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Visual Communication Specialist to join our dynamic team at Allure Ventures Inc. This role is essential for creating compelling visual content that effectively communicates our clients' messages.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate the time required to produce graphic designs and illustrations.
  • Modify and adapt existing illustrations to fit project needs.
  • Engage with clients to understand their communication requirements and tailor illustrations accordingly.
  • Oversee subcontracting processes when necessary.
  • Collaborate with clients to define the overall aesthetic, graphic components, and content of communication materials.
  • Select the most suitable medium to achieve the desired visual impact and communication effectiveness.
  • Create graphic elements that align with clients' objectives and branding.
  • Set guidelines for illustrators or photographers to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Prepare initial sketches, layouts, and graphic components for review.
  • Utilize existing photo and illustration resources along with typography guides to enhance designs.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with Mac OS operating systems.
Work Environment
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
