Join our team of dedicated educators in the Vancouver Island West region. We are seeking qualified BC Certified Teachers to fill on-call positions in our rural and First Nations communities.

About the Role

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our students. As an on-call teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including elementary and secondary schools, and to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and social studies
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Experience teaching in a multi-grade classroom
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
