Traction Electrical Technician

Position Overview

As a Traction Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, installation, and repair of various electrical systems. This includes working on district and rectification stations, managing DC 750 volts distribution networks, high voltage DC breakers, and overseeing 12 Kv and 25 Kv distribution stations. Your role will also involve emergency shutdown procedures, cable replacements, and connections, along with troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications:

  • DEC in industrial electronics or equivalent training in electrodynamics
  • Possession of a Class 3 driver's license
  • Compliance with STM's medical standards
  • Pre-employment drug screening is mandatory
  • STM recognizes equivalent studies completed outside Quebec and Canada according to established criteria
