We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team at the Janine Wigmore Society. As a Caregiver, you will provide personalized support and care to adults with disabilities in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Administer medications and provide medication reminders
- Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Perform other tasks as required to support the client's independence and well-being
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with adults with disabilities (will train)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
