Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver health education programs and provide supportive counseling and life skills programming to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Conduct disease screening and provide immunization programs as needed.
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment and provide nursing care to patients.
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff as required.
- Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Fetal health surveillance Certification, Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
