About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at Sekhon Painting Ltd. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, levelling and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
  • Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching and kneeling. You will also be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in plastering is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
