About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team at Coop. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile applications using Kotlin.

Your primary focus will be on building end-to-end features of our app, working collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom UI elements and create a rich, interactive UX
  • Implement modern software architectures (MVVM) and use AndroidX libraries
  • Work with dependency injection frameworks (Koin, Dagger, Hilt) and mobile network communication (ok retrofit)
  • Write clean, understandable, and testable code, with 100% unit test coverage
  • Champion technical and functional improvements within the app to stay on the cutting edge of technology
About You

We're looking for a talented Android Developer with 1+ years of experience in mobile app development. You should have a solid understanding of modern software architectures, experience with Kotlin, and a passion for creating high-quality user experiences.

Additionally, you'll have experience with:

  • Creating custom UI elements and creating a rich, interactive UX
  • Using AndroidX libraries and dependency injection frameworks
  • Writing unit tests (jUnit) and UI unit tests (Robolectric, Espresso)
  • Profiling, troubleshooting, and optimizing app performance
