About the Role:
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced branch, ensuring a positive working environment, change management, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to operational improvements and coordinate the implementation of new policies and procedures to enhance the client experience.
- Remain abreast of client feedback on service quality and coach the team to prevent issues and improve the client experience.
- Provide leadership for national and branch projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and early adoption.
- Actively participate in national MCS Conference Calls, providing input and feedback as required.
- Assist the CSA team with day-to-day problem resolution and escalation requests.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, balance workloads, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Coach and develop employees to proactively identify client needs and deliver on business sales and advice strategies.
- Resolve escalated matters and refer complex issues beyond own level of expertise.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree
- 7+ years of related people management experience
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Registered with IIROC as an Investment Representative or Registered Representative
