About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Quality & Company Inc. as a key member of our furniture manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Finishing: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
  • Quality Control: Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
  • Woodworking: Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts.
  • Finishing: Stain or finish wood to specified color, apply toners, highlights, glazes, or shaders to obtain desired finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Make minor adjustments and repairs to furniture, reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports.
  • Cleaning and Polishing: Clean, polish, and wax furniture.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
