Senior Network Security Specialist

Converge Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting data networks and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
- Assess and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client data.
- Collaborate with sales teams to provide consultative advice to clients on network and security solutions.
- Develop and maintain advanced level certifications, knowledge, and capabilities in the latest network and security technologies and trends.
- Provide excellent communication and documentation skills, delivering design, planning, recommendations, and as-built documentation/drawings.
- 5+ years of experience in network and security, with a focus on design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with prominent tools from vendors like Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, and/or Juniper.
- Experience with HPE Aruba NAC and/or Clearpass is required.
- Network product certifications are preferred.
- Passion for learning and cross-training in new security technologies.
- Ability to produce client presentations on technology solutions.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and work well with teams.
- Document experiences within Visio, Word, Excel, etc.
