Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at PACE Independent Living. As a Housekeeper, you will provide housekeeping services to clients with disabilities, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general in-home light housekeeping and other light cleaning services under the direction of the client.
  • Tasks may include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming/washing floors, emptying trash, cleaning multiple surfaces, dusting, laundry, washing dishes, making beds/changing linens, and other related duties as requested by the client.
  • Work independently and cooperatively with others to ensure the highest level of service.
Requirements:
  • Grade Twelve or recognized equivalent.
  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities would be considered an asset.
  • Proof of First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Person).
