Interior and Exterior Finishing Expert

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Winmar Estevan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all painting and decorating work is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a smooth finish.
- Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
- Colour Consultation: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings, taking into account their personal preferences and design goals.
- Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as required to ensure safe access to work areas.
- Finishing Touches: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Language and Communication: Communicate effectively with consumers, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Work Hours and Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required to meet business needs.
