Job Title: Dietitian

Providence Health Care is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our clinical nutrition team. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of innovative nutrition programs.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Dietitian to work in our Nutrition Department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical nutrition and excellent communication skills. As a Dietitian at Providence Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient nutritional status and develop personalized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide education on nutrition and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nutrition programs
  • Provide clinical education and supervision to students and dietetic interns
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university
  • Dietetic internship from an accredited program
  • Current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
