About the Opportunity

The Electro Mechanical Technician is a key member of the Clinical Engineering team at Nova Scotia Health, responsible for the repair, calibration, and installation of electromechanical patient care devices. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic and mechanical principles, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronics or electromechanics, with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. Certification in electronic or industrial mechanics is considered an asset. The ability to travel to other sites and access reliable transportation is also required.

Nova Scotia Health offers a competitive salary of $28.97 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and a defined benefit pension plan. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Strong background in electronics or electromechanics
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related field

Hours
  • Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
