Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Production Technician to join our team at Super-Pufft Snacks Corp. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery used in the processing and packaging of food products.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role is necessary.
Work Environment
  • Conditions: The work environment may be characterized as noisy and may have odours associated with food processing.
Work Setting
  • Location: This position is based in a food processing facility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery for the processing, packaging, and bagging of food items.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document production data accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and surrounding work areas.
  • Report any mechanical issues or product inconsistencies to the supervisor.
  • Keep a detailed log of production activities and other relevant information.
  • Set up and modify processing and packaging equipment as needed.
  • Inspect products for quality assurance and compliance with company standards.
  • Utilize machines for blending, flavouring, conditioning, drying, flattening, stripping, or cutting raw materials.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with multi-functional process control machinery is essential.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable.
Transportation Requirements
  • Personal transportation is required for commuting to the workplace.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Attention to detail is crucial for this role.
Tools and Equipment
  • Safety glasses or goggles are necessary for this position.
