About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our Engineering and Design team at Arpac Storage Systems. As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for producing accurate drawings and layouts for our clients and inspecting custom designed racking systems onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop customized racking parts and systems using AutoCAD
  • Collaborate closely with our Engineering and Installation teams to identify and troubleshoot design issues and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Inspect custom designed racking systems onsite to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Develop and maintain accurate drawings and layouts for our clients
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma in Computer Aided Design or related field
  • 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD to design selective/push-back/drive-in racking systems
  • Experience working with forklifts as they relate to the design of a wire guidance system, and forklift interfaces for custom racking systems
  • Experience with torque specifications, embedment, clearance issues as related to engineering requirements and industry standards
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with personal vehicle to travel throughout the province
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
