Position: Automotive Test Automation Specialist

Location: Ottawa, Ontario (onsite)

Job Overview: Lorven Technologies is seeking a skilled Automotive Test Automation Specialist to join our team for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the automotive embedded sector, particularly in areas such as ADAS, BCM, or PowerTrain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize 4 - 6 years of experience in the Automotive Embedded Domain.
  • Essential: Proficiency in Python scripting, specifically within the Automotive Embedded Domain.
  • Essential: Experience in requirement gathering, analyzing specifications, crafting manual test cases, and automating these using Python, followed by test execution on hardware benches or ECUs.
  • Essential: Hands-on expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using systems such as dSPACE HiL, VT System, NI, or ETAS.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols including CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate manual test cases using Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
