The Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Bus Attendant. As a Bus Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our students with special needs during transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with special needs in boarding and exiting the bus
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to students during transportation
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and any incidents that may occur during transportation
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience for all students
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification

  • A competitive hourly rate of $20.02/hour
  • 4% in lieu of vacation pay
