Restaurant Assistant Manager Job Description

At Marigold Unique Flavour, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate team members' performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Leadership: Lead and instruct individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, large workload, overtime required.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
