Course Title: International Business
Schedule: Section 01 – Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Compensation Structure:
Compensation for Marker-Grader positions is determined based on the qualifications held by the employee:
- Master's Degree Complete ($) - For those who have completed a master's degree.
- Undergraduate Degree Complete ($) - For those who have completed a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree.
- Third Year Complete ($) - For those who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree.
- Second Year Complete ($) - For those who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree.
- First Year Complete ($) - For those who have completed the first year of an undergraduate honours degree.
Key Responsibilities:
The Marker-Grader will be responsible for evaluating assignments, term projects, case studies, midterms, progress exams, and final assessments. They must provide constructive written feedback to students, clearly outlining the criteria for the assigned grades, which may include content quality and written communication aspects such as spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure.
Additionally, the Marker-Grader may be required to supervise mid-term and final examinations or input grades into databases as requested by the course instructor.
Qualifications:
- Completion of MGMT 3P98 or an equivalent course with a minimum grade of 80%.
- At least third-year completion in a business program with an overall average of 75%.
- Prior experience in a marker/grader role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in the English language.
- Commitment to academic integrity and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and meet deadlines.
