Software Verification Engineer

Codekeeper is seeking a skilled Software Verification Engineer to join our team. As a remote-first company, we prioritize a healthy and resilient organization to support the development of our robust app.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure the integrity and reliability of our customers' software through verification processes. This involves analyzing technical documentation, executing successful software builds in various programming languages, and validating software functionality against specified requirements.

This role encompasses a variety of tasks in backend, frontend, and DevOps, making versatility and adaptability key traits for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct verification of customer software using provided technical documentation.
  • Achieve software builds across various programming languages.
  • Identify and diagnose build issues, ensuring software meets quality standards.
  • Analyze software requirements and technical documentation to understand build processes and dependencies.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to software verification.
  • Assist in backend and frontend development tasks as required.
  • Participate in DevOps activities, including CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years development/devops experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac environment fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of popular backend languages (Python, Java, NodeJS, and PHP).
  • Ability to set up and configure Windows servers, as well as servers in GCP/AWS environments.
  • Prior experience or understanding of database- and server configuration (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL).
  • Basic knowledge of front-end languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of API configuration beneficial.
