Position Summary

Strike Group's Management Trainee Program is an entry-level leadership development program designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the oil and gas construction industry. As a Management Trainee, you will receive hands-on field experience and technical training in project management, cost control, scheduling, safety management, quality management, estimating, and proposal delivery. You will also gain exposure to various functional areas, including finance, administration, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in project scheduling, including personnel and production timelines
  • Develop and administer quality control turnover packages
  • Conduct hazard assessments and job planning
  • Assist with corporate estimating and project development
  • Administer worksite inspections and quality control audits

Qualifications

  • Recent graduates or expecting to graduate shortly with a diploma or degree in Construction Technology, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Surveying/Geomatics, or Project Management
  • Certificated apprentices or Journeypersons in a relevant construction trade may also be considered
  • Previous field-level construction experience is an asset
