About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Nanny to join our family team at Vo's Family. As a Nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, ensuring the children's well-being and happiness.
  • Organize and participate in activities such as games, outings, and educational programs to promote learning and development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering the children's dietary needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and care for the children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Transport the children to and from school, appointments, and other activities as needed.
  • Support the family in settling newcomers and refugees, providing assistance with immediate needs and promoting social and labour market integration.
  • Participate in programs and initiatives that support youth employment, offering on-the-job training and creating a welcoming work environment.
  • Support Indigenous people by participating in programs and initiatives that promote cultural competency and awareness.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry children, if necessary.
