About the Role

FINDLAY CREEK AUTO is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Surveying Support: Assist surveying activities by holding stakes and ensuring accurate measurements.
  • Site Safety: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Team Support: Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Cleanliness: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
