Electronic Arts is seeking a highly skilled Senior Character Artist to join our team. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character models, textures, and animations for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with art directors, producers, and technical artists to develop character concepts and designs.
  • Design and create 3D character models, textures, and animations that meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with engineers and riggers to ensure seamless integration of character assets into the game.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of human anatomy, clothing construction, and other character-related disciplines.
  • Provide feedback and critiques to team members through art reviews and ensure that all character assets meet the required quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry-standard tools, workflows, and techniques, including physically based rendering.
  • Participate in art direction focus and reviews to ensure that all character assets align with the game's overall vision.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in character art, modeling, and texturing.
  • Strong portfolio of realistic character art.
  • Proficiency in Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Marvelous Designer.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and collaborating with technical artists, engineers, and riggers.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed.
